ABOUT USHistory of AtlanticIn the 40's, Emanuel Bolduc began an auto trim & upholstery shop with just a sewing machine and determination in West Hartford, Connecticut called Bolduc Auto Upholstery. As time went on, his son Ted Bolduc, would come to work with him and one day purchase the struggling business with his wife.
The year was 1984, and amidst pressures from corporate expansion around his small shop on Park Avenue in West Hartford, Connecticut, Bolduc Auto Upholstery principal owners opted to move their operation to a small town in Florida called Vero Beach. Purchasing a local auto trim business by the name of Roberts of Vero, the second generation of Bolduc Auto Upholstery, now with children settled in.
Over the first several years, the name was changed to Atlantic and the product & service offering grew from Bolduc Auto Upholstery modest line to include auto glass & minor marine canvas repair & fabrication. The year 2001 brought back their oldest son, Jeff to help with growth potential in the growing town of Vero Beach. Today, the product and services offered covers a wide range of fabrication from awnings to complete marine interiors & canvas as well as the original line of automotive trim, convertible tops & custom interiors.
Much has changed over the last 60 years since the beginnings of Atlantic, but the continued focus on customer service and providing a top notch product has not. Thank you to all of our loyal clients and to those who have yet to visit, we invite you to experience the difference that has not only stood the test of time and grown over three generations.
